Lac wax policosanol-based plant growth regulator formulation
The lac wax policosanol is a mixture of octacosanol (C28), triacontanol (C30) and dotriacontanol (C32) and other lower fatty alcohols. The PGR activity of policosanol was evaluated in-vitro method using wheat seedling germination and field evaluation on fenugreek under potted condition at different concentrations of policosanol and compared with commercial triacontanol formulation.
